箱根登山鉄道「強羅駅」から平坦路を歩いて5分のところにある「箱根 ゆとわ」。クルマがなくても簡単アクセスです

「箱根 ゆとわ」のホテルタイプのお部屋は、東棟と西棟に全62室。スタンダードツインルームを中心に、スーペリアツインルーム（AとB）、セミダブルルーム、トリプルルーム、車椅子利用のできるアクセシブルルームがあります。今回私は西棟4階のスタンダードツインルーム（約30m ² ）を利用しました。さっそく浴衣に着替えると、畳敷きがしっくりなじんでよい感じ。館内はレストラン・ラウンジを含めて浴衣＆スリッパでOK。また全館Wi-Fi利用可能で、パスワードは客室のテレビ画面で確認できます。

畳に低いベッドがホテルと旅館の中間的な雰囲気ベッドまわりはいたってシンプル、好きな感じでした窓側にはロングソファとラウンドテーブル。空気清浄機も冷蔵庫や金庫、それから温泉セットなど。足袋も入っています洗面所、トイレ、シャワーブース。ガラス張りで清潔感あり歯ブラシやヘアゴムなどのアメニティ類

12人ほどが座れる長いテーブル席も各種ドリンクは利用時間内（6～24時）なら飲み放題。紙コップがあるので部屋に持ち帰りもOKカウンター席にはUSB充電器を完備ワーケーションも快適に。滞在中もここでノートPCを広げているゲストの姿がありました夜のライブラリーラウンジは、スナックとともにアルコールの提供もライブラリーラウンジの奥は約500冊のコミックがずらりの魅惑のコーナーとマッサージチェアを置いたくつろぎスペース

「箱根 ゆとわ」には「癒」と「和」という2つの貸切風呂もあって、こちらは宿泊者専用。1回45分の予約制でチェックイン時に予約しますリラクゼーションサロン「湯るりと」もあります。今回は時間がなくてできませんでしたが「ゆとわ現代湯治（9800円）」が気になるメニュー
