Tweet from twitter@iPhoneMania_jp July 10, 2020 07:23 Until reading completed About 1 minute 59 seconds Isn't there a time when you say, "This is different from what I was used to?" This is because the "face" you see when shooting is the reverse of the face that is actually being photographed. iOS14 adds a setting that matches the face you see with the photo you take.
Inverted selfie can be saved in iOS14
When you take a selfie, the iPhone screen shows the face taken with the front camera (FaceTime camera) in reverse. This is the face we are used to seeing in the mirror. When you take a selfie, the "Photos" app saves the "face seen from the camera", and the reverse photo that was on the screen is not saved. Originally, the face seen from the camera is the correct translation, but there have been many requests to save familiar "flipped face" photos. With iOS14, this request has finally been fulfilled, and you can set it so that you can always save a flipped selfie.
To take a flipped selfie
- Open Settings.
- Scroll down and select Camera.
- Turn on the toggle for Mirror Front Camera under Composition.
This is a new setting from iOS14, but you can manually flip it even before iOS13. But you have to do it one by one after taking the picture.
To flip a selfie on iOS13 or earlier
- Select "Selfie" from "Album" in the "Photos" app.
- Select the photo you want to flip and tap Edit.
- Tap "Skew Correction" on the far right of the three buttons at the bottom.
- Press the "flip" button (two triangles side by side) on the top left to flip it.
