That's why I'm tired of doing various jobs, so I challenged myself to see if I could actually work as a writer with the Fire HD 10 Plus Essential Set (64GB model)!

It's super easy to set up ...

So I set it up immediately. However, it arrives with your Amazon account registered in advance, so you can just start it. The exterior is a little cheaper than the iPad, but the price is so high that it looks like this.

This time there is a cover with a keyboard, so set it. Then I downloaded the required app (I can't use the Google Play store, so I'll download it from Amazon's dedicated store).

First of all, there is one problem here. I don't have a Slack app that I use messed up at work ... At this point, it turned out that it couldn't be the main work machine. Hmm ...

OneNote had an app, so I installed it. There is no YouTube app, so I decided to use a standard browser (Silk Browser). I really want to put more apps, but it seems that there aren't many apps I want to use in the Amazon store.

Genuine keyboard not suitable for writers

After the test, I tried to input text with OneNote, but the keyboard is hard to type ... Not only is it not full pitch, but the feeling of keystrokes is cheap. It seems to be a basic English layout, but it seems that the symbols etc. are arranged uniquely, so I am a little confused. As you get used to it, you will be able to enter characters as it is, but your hands will get tired.

Also, it is stressful that IME is not very smart. If you install ATOK for Android, it may be a little better, but you don't have the energy to do so. In the writer business, the keyboard is the second most important device after life, so this keyboard cover didn't raise my tension a little.

Multitasking can be used unexpectedly

With the new Fire HD 10 Plus, you can use the split screen function. You can display two apps side by side on the screen. This was pretty good. You can even write a manuscript in OneNote while viewing a web page in your browser. I often write manuscripts with two or more screens displayed, so this was a pretty good feature (well, I can do it on other tablets as well).

There is no trackpad, so you can operate it by touching the screen directly (mouse is also supported). The reaction is not bad. It moves quite quickly. I get a lot of dissatisfaction when I try to use it like a computer with a keyboard cover attached, but I thought it would be good for normal use as a tablet.

When I tried using the Fire HD 10 Plus this time, I felt that it was difficult to get the job done with it, but I felt that it could be used as a so-called tablet for watching videos and reading e-books.
