From the memorable holidays spent on the beach to last night dinner, thousands of photos that record the most important moments in life (and the most out of the moment) are stored on the iPhone.

Thanks to the "memories" function of the photo application, you can look back on such memories little by little, but sometimes images you do not want to remember are displayed.

The "Memories" function can also regularly display some past best shots in the home screen photo widgets and create short videos.

However, you may not be willing to relive the anniversary of spending time with ex -girlfriends and ex -boyfriends, or to see the smile of your sister who has no longer speaking.

With iOS 15 and iPados 15 (now public beta version), Apple finally changes it.

It is now possible to choose to reduce the frequency of people and memories that you do not want to display or delete them completely.

The method is as follows.

Open the photo app on the iPhone or iPad and go to the "Foryou" tab."Memories" and "Recommended photos" are displayed here, so you can specify people and places you do not want to see.

In the case of "Memories", tap the "menu" button for three points, and in the case of "Recommended photos", press and hold the menu.

To delete a photo from "Recommended Photos", select "Delete from recommended photos".Alternatively, if you select "Reduce recommended recommendations", the person will only be displayed in the group photo.

If there are multiple people in the photo, there is an option to specifically select the person you want to hide.Select the person who wants to reduce the frequency of the person displayed or not to display it again and tap the "Confirm" button.

There are other ways to delete a specific person from "recommended photos" or "suggestions".

Open the photo app on the iPhone or iPad and proceed to the "album".Here, find the "People and shooting location" and select a person who wants to reduce the frequency displayed in the recommended photos.

Tap the three "menu" buttons in the upper right corner and select "Reduce the recommended person (the name of the applicable person)".

Select if you want to delete it from "Proposal" or just want to display it too often, and tap the "Confirm" button.

To completely delete the person from the "Recommended Photos", select "Delete (Person)" from People.

The person deleted from the "People" section will not be linked to the contacts and will not be displayed in "memories" or "suggestions".
