You can easily take screenshots on your Mac, but your desktop will be filled up immediately. This is because the default save destination of the screenshot is desktop.
Like me, some people may want to keep their desktops clean.
To do so, there are three options: stopping screenshots on a Mac, regularly moving or deleting old screenshots, and changing the save destination of the screenshot.
This time, we will also focus on the third option, which is also a learning method of changing the location where screenshots are automatically saved on a Mac.
The easiest way to prevent screenshots from scattering on a Mac is to save screenshots on the clipboard and paste them on other apps.
That way, the screenshots are not stored on the Mac, so they won't be scattered.
For example, this method is perfect when you want to take a screenshot on a screenshot, send it to a friend, or if you want to use a screenshot immediately with an image editing app.
On the Mac, you can take a screenshot of the entire screen and save it on the clipboard by pressing the [Command] + [Control] + [Shift] + [3] key.
After that, use [Command] + [V] in another application to paste the screenshot to the place you like.
Similarly, press the [Command] + [Control] + [Shift] + [4] key, so you can take a screenshot by specifying the range.
After pressing the shortcut, click and drag the scope of the screen you want to snap.Once you can shoot, paste the screenshot to your favorite place.
If you want to save the photographed screenshot, press [Command] + [Shift] + [5] key on the keyboard, click [Option] in the screenshot menu, and [Save Save at the top of the menu displayed. If you select your favorite folder in the] section, you can easily change the save destination.
If the folder you want to save is not displayed in the list, click [Other location] to specify the folder.
With this, if you take a screenshot using the Mac [Command] + [Shift] + [3] or [Command] + [Shift] + [4] key, it will be saved in the selected location.。
