Meta's new service, Horizon Worlds, which spearheads Facebook, Instagram, and more, is now open to the public. This is a Metaverse service that allows you to log in using Meta's VR headset Quest 2 or Rift S.

In Horizon Worlds, the user becomes an avatar of only the upper body, visits various worlds with friends, talks, and enjoys playing casual games. You can also create and publish worlds. You could call it the VR version of Roblox.

The original Quest is included in the list of supported devices on the app store. I was happy that I did it, but in fact, support for the original Quest will end on January 13, 2022. At least it's tough without the processing power of Quest2...

Currently only US and Canadian users can install. I hope you come to Japan soon.
