If you want to free up space quickly, use the standard iOS function that automatically deletes unused apps. All you have to do is enable "Remove unused apps" in "General"-> "iPhone Storage" in the "Settings" app.

In this case, when the storage space becomes low, only the main body of the unused application is deleted, and the "documents and data" are retained as they are. If you need the app again, you can reinstall it and you can use the previous settings and data as it is, so you can rest assured.

However, if the "documents and data" are larger than the app itself, deleting only the app itself will not save much storage. On the same "iPhone Storage" screen, installed apps are listed in order of occupied size, and you can see when you used them last time, so you can manually delete apps that are large and rarely used.

Store high resolution photos only in iCloud
