Bandai Namco Studios launched "GYAAR Studio" as an indie game label. Aiming to nurture creators

Bandai Namco Studios announced on October 15th that it has established an indie game label "GYAAR Studio". The game title is scheduled to be released once a year. One creator appointed as a "brave" within Bandai Namco Studios will form a team and release the game within a limited budget and period. The first title will be "Survival Quiz City".

In other words, within Bandai Namco Studios, a label called Gya Studio was launched, and young people within the same studio created games. BANDAI NAMCO Studios is said to have set the goal of "creating major titles worldwide", and has launched Gya Studio to train top creators to create such titles.

Bandai Namco Studios, as an indie game label Launched

"Survival Quiz City" is an online quiz action game for Steam scheduled to be released from publisher Phoenixx, which handles indie games. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios and released by Phoenixx, it was an unusual series, but it was developed as the debut work of Gya Studio. The name "Gya Studio" is said to have been named after the character Gya from "Survival Quiz City". The characters appearing in the first title have been adopted as the label name and logo so that they will always have the original intention and enthusiasm of the development of "Survival Quiz City".

Opinions may be divided on the point of naming an indie game label for an attempt by a young staff member of a major company to create an experimental game in-house. Nonetheless, it is certain that you can feel the willingness of Bandai Namco Studios to nurture young talent. It's also interesting that "Survival Quiz City" will be released by Phoenixx, not by itself. I would like to pay attention to the future development of Gya Studio, including this work.
