A portable recorder that can record analog video without a PC has appeared, and Tech has released "Easy Video Dubbing (TADREC-S)". The over-the-counter price is 14,800 yen including tax.

This is a recorder that can be connected to analog generation video and game machines that have RCA terminals and S-Video output, and can be saved as digital data on an SD card or USB flash memory with the touch of a button. The feature is that a PC is not required for dubbing work, and the saved data can be played back on a PC. In addition, the video input to this unit can be displayed on the LCD screen of the main unit or on a TV or projector connected via HDMI.
The file save format is MP4 (H.264) and the resolution is 720 x 480p / 60 or 720 x 576p / 50. The maximum size of one file is 4GB, and when it reaches that, another file is automatically created. It is a specification. Supported file systems are FAT32, FAT, NTFS, exFAT. Data can be saved in SD card (up to 32GB), USB memory (up to 128GB), and external HDD. HDD supports up to 4TB, but due to power capacity, only products with an external power input can be used.
Accessories include AV cable, USB power cable, AC-USB adapter, manual and warranty card.
